It’s over!

It was a cloudy day both literally and figuratively as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were trailing 24-10 to the lowly New York Jets.

There was already enough adversity as is, then more piled-on top.

No matter what the result was, the NFL not only had the headline of the game, but potentially the season.

Antonio Brown lost his gd mind and took off his shoulder pads and shirt and quit on the team mid-game.

Everybody was so confused that police at first mistook him for a shirtless fan.

I will admit, I was shocked by his behavior as well when I first saw it on NFL RedZone and sadly, was shocked something like this could happen.

I will also admit, I should not have been shocked after all the crap Antonio Brown has done. There are too many events for me to name, so please click on the hyperlink.

Now, all these events especially the on-field incident sparked fire from FOX commentator Terry Bradshaw who made controversial comments the day after.

“If there’s no altercation and this is him just tripping off because he’s not going to reach a certain goal to get his bonus money — the million bucks — then they need to put him in a straitjacket and take him straight to some hospital, get him analyzed,” Bradshaw said.

Antonio Brown’s outburst was no doubt costly and beyond dumb, but a lot of people took aim at Bradshaw for being insensitive and overlooking mental health problems.

Bradshaw was wrong to say this on live television, but I assure you, more people were thinking the quiet part in which Bradshaw said out loud.

Being considerate on mental health and treating everybody with dignity and respect are values that we must adhere to if we want to be united as one people.

At the same time, we must be held accountable and take personal responsibility when necessary.

Antonio Brown clearly needs help and I hope he gets the treatment he needs, but he will get it once he decides to help himself. Until then, he is a total enigma that is impossible to solve.

I believe most people would love nothing more than to help people like him. That’s great, but until the question of how you can help those who won’t help themselves is answered, I’m afraid Bradshaw will probably end up being right. Brown is heading down the path of being in a straitjacket.

I know I would get ripped for saying this if I were in mainstream media, but deep down, people know it’s the truth.

This is a man who betrayed the trust of Tom Brady.

When no one else wanted to take him in, Brown got Brady’s endorsement twice.

He had a stint with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The former only lasted a game due to sexual misconduct cases.

That didn’t deter Brady when he joined the Bucs.

Even when head coach Bruce Arians said that he was too much of a diva, Brown got Brady’s endorsement again and since Brady is the GOAT, Arians put him on a “short leash.” I say that in quotes because Brown screwed up several times and Arians kept him anyway.

Now, I’m not going to pass judgment on Arians as much as others because it is clear that his decisions were influenced by Brady.

Yes, he flip-flopped and did not keep that promise, but after all that Brady has done including letting him stay at his house — was the idea of having Brown on a short leash ever realistic.

There are more people that care about Brown than I think we will ever know, and it is a shame that he has betrayed the trust of Brady and everybody close to him.

He even dropped a single after his outburst called Pit Not the Palace which makes my confirmation bias stronger. AB never cared about Brady or anybody — only himself this whole time.

The next chapter is predictable: karma will be swift, he will suffer harsh consequences and maybe then, he will look for redemption.
